THE MIDDLE WAY
Like A Dream
by
Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche
One of the major differences between the Autonomy and the Consequence school is that, whereas the Autonomy school divides the relative appearances into correct appearances, like those that appear during the daytime, and incorrect appearances, like those that appear in dreams, the Consequence school makes no such distinction. In their view, there is no difference between the quality of appearances in the day and in a dream. 14
Appearing, Yet Empty: The Middle Way View of Shunyata
by
The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche
In each of the Three Turnings, Buddha presented the "right view" for each stage. This is very important to understand at the beginning because, without having the right view, one cannot find the right path. Without discovering the right path, one will not meet with the right realizations or experiences. Without realizing the nature of mind correctly there is no way to free ourselves from samsara. 26
How to Study From Chidon: An Introduction to Madhyamaka
by
Ven. Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche

Excerpt from "Music in the Sky": Emptiness
by the Seventeenth Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje
While we are meditating, the meaning of emptiness will naturally dawn in our minds. It is through the stages of practice that the nature of emptiness arises in our mind. First, if we do not know the true nature of emptiness, we should come to know it. Once we know it, we should become familiar with it. Only after this will meditation allow primordial wisdom to dawn within. 6
